CASAK celebrated the 6th World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly together with the Little Sisters of the Poor. The occasion honoured older persons, recognised their contribution to families, the Church and society, and reaffirmed the importance of compassionate, dignified and loving care in later life.

Sr. Agnes Wamuyu, FES, Executive Director of Care for Aging Sisters Association Kenya (CASAK), represented the Association at the Catholic Sisters Journeying Together in Solidarity and Hope Convening held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Organized by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s Catholic Sisters Initiative, the gathering brought together over 130 Catholic sisters and ministry partners from across the globe to strengthen collaboration, share experiences, and inspire collective action.
