CASAK’s identity within the Church is deeply rooted in its mission to serve the aging religious sisters who have dedicated their lives to the Church and its ministries. CASAK’s identity within the Church is that of a steward of the Church’s values, committed to caring for those who have served the Church and ensuring their well-being as they age.) CASAK embodies the Church’s mission of compassion, service, and care, particularly towards those who have served the Church faithfully and spent their lives in service to God and the community. Its identity is simplified in its core values, mission, vision, and overall purpose of the Care for Aging Sisters Association Kenya (CASAK)

To support member congregations to offer holistic care for the elderly and infirm 

CASAK’s main goal is to support older sisters by providing them with essential resources, care, and assistance. This includes healthcare services, emotional support, spiritual guidance, and chances for social interaction.

The Care for Aging Sisters Association Kenya (CASAK)  Motto  serves as the foundation for the CASAK’s actions, decision-making, overall vision and mission.   It is CASAK’s  commitment to uphold the dignity of each person, regardless of culture, creed, age, social status by providing compassionate, person-centered care that respects their individual needs and preferences with great empathy.

The following values ensure that the CASAK remains true to its identity and effectively fulfills its mandate.

Providing care in a nurturing environment, where sisters and other clients feel valued, supported, and loved is paramount for CASAK. It Commits stakeholders to accompany each individual sister throughout their aging journey, providing consistent and reliable support at every stage.  CASAK believes that every person deserves the best possible care.

  • Team Work and Commitment

We are motivated by love to unite our efforts so as to provide high-quality care and services to members. We come together to collaborate, communicate, share resources, cooperate, network, build strong partnerships and share resources

  • Respect for All

CASAK believes that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, regardless of their condition, age and infirmity. Respect for all invites members to treat each sister as an individual to value the different experiences of the sisters while embracing inclusivity in all aspects of care.

This core value proposes the highest ethical standards in all operations, ensuring that decisions are made with honesty, transparency, integrity, and in the best interest of the sisters and in all of our interactions.

  • Network and Partnership

These two values together point at community engagement and shared responsibility. Call for fostering strong relationships with local communities, parishes, healthcare providers, and other organizations to enhance the support network for the sisters, recognizing that care is a shared responsibility.

By adhering to these core values, CASAK will remain focused on its mission of caring for elderly and infirm Catholic sisters, delivering care that is compassionate, respectful to the vowed life and grounded in the values of the Catholic faith.
