MONITORING VISITS
Monitoring visits for the Care for Aging Sisters Association Kenya (CASAK) plays a key role ensuring the well-being and quality of care for aging sisters. These visits are designed to regularly assess the health, emotional, spiritual, and social conditions of the sisters, as well as to ensure that any changes in their needs are addressed promptly.
Environment and Living Conditions
Reviewing the safety of the living environment, including cleanliness, proper lighting, and the absence of hazards that could lead to falls or injuries. Ensuring that the sister’s living environment is comfortable, with appropriate bedding, clothing, and room temperature.
Engaging with the elderly sisters and the care givers we are able to assess their emotional well-being, mood, and cognitive state. This includes conversations about how they are feeling, any anxieties, or signs of depression or loneliness.
Monitoring visits supports the care givers to ensure that sisters receive continuous, tailored support as their needs evolve, and that the quality of care is maintained over time.
